back home rested and relaxed...

and ready to take on the year ahead!  **warning** NO SCRAPPING OR PHOTOS... :( I cannot believe how happy I was to see my own bed and my own toilet!! and I couldn't wait to shower WITHOUT thongs on!  I love being on holidays but I do love to come home.  I can't wait as I am so close to getting my ensuite that I cannot contain myself! 
Back to the hustle & bustle of it all, I have been trying to organise my 2010 classes and it is proving a nightmare! My problem is trying to please everybody and give them the time/teacher/class they request but it isn't that easy and I have left messages and people on holidays and arrrrrrghhhh!
I am so desperate to get in to my little craft room and CREATE but that will be on the back burner for at least the next week (or until the house is back in order!)
better go and feed the family...... (that is the WORST thing about being home!)

My whole family CHEATS at uno!

Everyone in my house thinks they are the champion at UNO! but I have since found out they have ALL been cheating at these years!  Lachlan is probably the worst at this stage.  He was putting down any card after I had a draw two, he would put 4 cards together and put them down at the same time, he would change colour whenever he wanted, he would pinch a couple of wild cards and sit on them! I never even noticed! Then the other kids confessed they all cheat as well! shocking!  Funny though!

The kids have been surfing every day and the waves have been ok.  I have only been down to the beach a couple of times not a fan of the sand!

Patrick has been going to the river and relaxing !

Just played a game of Scrabble with Patrick and I am SURE napipoo is NOT a word! and he had it on a triple work score! lol

I am so desperate to get back to my scrapping can you tell!........

well how is that eh? give myself a good old pat on the back of how gooooood I am posting everyday and then NOTHING! sorry............
I had the most wonderful Christmas. Granted I left everything till the last minute and I did learn from that......never will I do that again! The kids got pretty much everything they wanted although we did downsize a little seeing as Santa is no longer an issue anymore. The older kids just couldn't convince Paddy to humour me for another Xmas and they paid the price bahahhhahahhha!

Forgot to do the family photos until the end of the night and this was the best of a bad bunch!

Aden & Patrick took part in the Ocean Grave Rip to River run and Aden was a minute and a half longer than his time last year but the bad weather apparently (according to the organisers) pushed the tide earlier and runners had to run on soft sand. Anyway really happy with Aden's run of 46 minutes for the 10 ks

Patrick also competed in the nippers race of 1.4k and realises how unfit he is since quitting jets! still he did it in a great little time.
