Deepest Sympathy

Not really a fan of these cards....for obvious reasons!  I have, unfortunately, had to post a couple off a while ago :(  I think elegance and simplicity are the way to approach these cards.
I just ADORE the MB Poppy Die, it is just gorgeous.  I decided to make the poppy all back against the Websters Pages Jump Rope stamp and I think it is perfect and just enough.

go to Scrapbook Boutique for all the details on how to make this card.

Cardabilities Sketch # 63

Hello and welcome back for a new Cardabilities card Sketch #63

As usual, I love the sketch and as usual..... I have rotated the sketch to suit what I wanted to do....
That is why I love sketches!!

I just love this MB whimsy die.  I have used it a couple of times and  It would have to be up there as one of my go to dies at the moment.
A friend of mine lent me her Annabelle Stamps and I think I will have to buy this particular set,
Fanciful Flowers as I love every stamp.

Anyway, join in, I'd love to see what you have done!!

Here is my take on the challenge.....

I really love monochromatic  Lo's and cards and I must admit I did struggle a bit..... I had quite a few ideas to start with, but none of them made it past the drawing board!

I did start this card with acetate in mind but wanted the MFT Christmas Ornament to swing freely, so I changed it but then that opened a whole new set of problems!!!!
Anyway, I finally finished my first Christmas card for 2012 (and probably the last..lol)

Go and see what the other girls have created you WILL be suitable impressed!!!

Thanks for popping by
and
Next
on the hop
is Linda's Blog

Enjoy xxx :)

You are simply the best.....

Hello and WHAT THE...!!! it's NOVEMBER already!!!
Where has this year gone!
54 sleeps until Christmas.....

Anyway, Here is my card from Scrapbook Boutique today.  I have tried some faux letterpress and I am impressed with how easy it is!  I really love the effect and I will be trying this again.  This is not my usual style of card, so it was nice to think outside the box.
How gorgeous is the sentiment.  I am such big fan of Ali Edwards handwriting and this stamp from Technique Tuesday was a must.....
Head on over to Scrapbook Boutique for the details on how to make this card along with all the products you can purchase from the shop.

My daughter and her boyfriend are travelling around the US at the moment and we are eagerly listening to any news about Hurricane Sandy.  They are in Orlando now, so relatively out of harms way.  My thoughts with all people dealing with the aftermath.
