Be Unique

Crikey! I look at this photo of my youngest boy and he has changed so much!!  He is 15 now and not the baby faced boy here!  He is such a funny kid and so very different from my other children.  He has a great sense of humour and very quick witted.  He has the ability to have people in stitches while keeping a straight face.  I still think of him as a baby though....much to his disgust!

Scrapbook Boutique has all the products in store and a list of instructions on how to recreate this LO.
I had lots of fun with the embossing powder again and my Crafter's Workshop mask.

thanks for popping in x

Cardabilities Sketch # 68

Hi there and welcome to another Cardabilities sketch. Hasn't January just flown by!! I cannot believe we are all back at work and school and our summer holidays are just a distant memory now....... Such beautiful weather, lovely hot sunny days. Thankfully, the nice weather should continue through until Easter.

Another great design by Karan for this challenge and gone masculine for this one.  A bit different from my usual style I think.  I love the Little Argyle stamp Set by PTI After I finally WORKED it out.... I was stamping the second set over the diamonds and it just wasn't working....thankfully, it didn't take too long to 'get it'. I do love the PTI numbers die as well, they are a really good size.  I have the sizzix numbers too and they are just that little bit too big for cards (great for scrapbooking though).  Would it not be a card of mine if I didn't include some MFT .......?

I hope you join in, for some inspiration, hop on over to the Cardabilities Blog and see what the DT have created.

thanks for popping by :)

Thanks for popping in and I'll try and get the rest of my POD finished too..... not going to do February, way too under the pump with work! maybe March (maybe)

More January Photo a Day....

 13.1.13 Circle

Sometimes its really hard doing nothing all day....... there is only so much sunbathing, walking, eating, reading and relaxing you can take.....lol  Today we went to the main city centre and had a browse and of course lunch and most importantly.....I bought some more internet! I have gone over my plan with the stupid searching for internet and I am lost!! I told Hubby I needed to get my work emails....... Lol  he wasn't fooled.

14.1.13 Something Yellow

Christie bought me this water bottle to encourage me to drink more water. It holds a litre (1 quart) and it seems to be working. I sip from it all day and I only go through one fill up so far but getting better.

15.1.13 An ordinary moment

I love relaxing and reading my books and relaxing.....

16.1.13 Two things

After all the relaxing and late nights, sometimes a nanna nap is required. Look at those DIRTY FEET!!!

17.1.13 Ready

Well after a while, the relaxing and champagning and cheese plattering and relaxing and nanna napping will come back to bite you.......I'm READY to get back in shape....

Sending you smiles!

Hello there, I hope everything is nice and peaceful in your part of the world!  Trying to get my office cleaned and archive all my old files.....this job is MUCH BIGGER than I anticipated!! I'll keep plodding on though.

My card today  is using the lovely and bright range from Fancy Pants It's a good Life I've used nearly every sheet from this 12x12 pack.   It is quite a fun range and really puts you in the mood for some good weather!!!

Scrapbook Boutique have all the products used to make this card along with the instructions too.

January photo a day

I haven't been slack...still taking my photos but not having any internet to upload :(

5th January, 2013 : Movement

Always on the move Aden is riding his bike 50 kilometres ( approx 31 miles) every second day.  He chooses a destination and rides there.  I am in awe of his fitness and dedication!!  Quite often I am sitting relaxing (and in the same position) when he come back!.  His training regime is punishing!

6.1.13: Mine

Couldn't decide on which photo to use today...... I've decided to use these two.  Three of my children love having their photo taken and will ham it up at every opportunity and one flatly refuses (Aden) to let me take his photo, he will only pose for family ones.

7.1.13: Street

My street for a while.

8.1.13: something beginning with T

Enjoyed a lovely day exploring the fabulous wineries in the area  today.  The only problem is Mark and I don't have the heart to taste all the wines and NOT buy anything....  We came home with a few pity purchases LOL but as they are all shiraz (our fav) they will NOT go to waste bahahahahaha...

9.1.13 PAPER

Out driving today, I was at a loss with today's prompt.  We had come to a stop light and I looked over at this shop window spotted  this mannequin dressed in colourful paper rosettes! lucky it was a long set of lights!!!

10.1.13 ONE O'CLOCK

Aden and Lachlan are involved in the Vic Swim Program while we are here.  As they are both qualified Instructors, they thought it would be a great way to earn some money whilst on holidays.  They would only be sleeping anyway!!  They are starving when they get back though, so lunch needs to be ready and waiting.

11.1.13 :- WATER

Every year my friend and I walk from a Lighthouse to a local beach cafe. It is roughly 10 kilometres (6 miles) and usually it is a nice walk and we feel great after completing it and reward ourselves with a yummy breakfast at the cafe.  This year the husbands came, high tide made walking difficult by sinking in wet sand and NO breakfast....  Not bringing them next time.

11/1/13: Surprise

Today we went to a mussel festival and the kids seem to enjoy it.  Lots of music, rides and stalls selling their wares.  Mark and I went and had a coffee by the beach and this lovely old ship came sailing by. Reminded of a pirate ship and looked out of place, really with all the new modern boats alongside it. Didn't come home with any mussels this year.
