Celebrate!

Hi there!  Thanks for popping in today.  I have quite a few backgrounds left over from my "alcohol ink day" not as much fun as my "alcohol drink days!" lol.  I have a problem cutting up and covering up  my backgrounds as I love them and the beautiful vibrant colours they produce.  Neat & Tangled sentiment dies are fabulous for me as they have the shadow sentiment to use along with the sentiment, that you can also use alone.
The gold mixative is fast becoming a favourite and I love the effect with the greens. Paired with kraft paper, it gives it a lovely rustic feel.

Here is my take on the challenge.

I made a lot of backgrounds using my fabulous concord and 9th turnabout stamp I was trying lots of colour combinations to see what I like and what worked. Its you know, I love the inlaid technique and I couldn't resist using my MFT congratulations die to see if you could see the kaleidoscope of colours.  Taking my inspiration from the glorious daisies, I loved the pop of colour against the black.
I was happy that you can see a good mix of colour.  I decided to emboss the sentiment to give an extra pop.  Waste not, I made another card with the negative of my background.

anyway head on over to Ann's beautiful blog and I look forward to seeing your inspired contributions for this challenge ♥

Concord & 9th turnabout

I love the concept of the turnabout stamp sets by Concord & 9th.  I had a laugh when I you tubed it AFTER I had made my cards.  I certainly went about it the hard long way (hahaha). It is such a cool stamp and Concord & 9th have a few different sets which you can check out at Scrapbook Boutique.
